MOSCOW, May 5. Among the deputies of the State Duma there are those who want to go to the active parts of the DPR and LPR for participation in a special operation in Ukraine, said the chairman of the chamber, Vyacheslav Volodin. Volodin, on the air of the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio station, answering the presenter's question whether he feels the split in society, said that there is none — «consolidation is taking place.» According to him, if the demands of society contradict the decisions being made, «this is always reflected in how deputies behave in the State Duma.» However, today the deputies of different factions are unanimous in their opinion, he added. , we have deputies who are asking to be sent to active units, respectively, in the DPR and LPR,» Volodin said. According to him, Adam Delimkhanov, a deputy from Chechnya, is already participating in the special operation. Speaking about whether other deputies will be sent to Ukraine in the near future, he said that the situation does not need to be turned around — «in fact, this issue is not easy, and we are talking about it and deputies. However, if such a request comes from the Ministry of Defense, decisions will be made, the politician noted. «If there is a corresponding request from the Ministry of Defense, we will make such decisions. This is what we are talking about. And today deputies need to work both in Moscow in the State Duma and in the regions and do it with even greater responsibility,» he concluded.
