This year, Israel is included for the first time among the countries where the action for the delivery of fire particles is held from the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Kremlin Alexander Garden.The People's Front delivered a particle of the Eternal Flame to the city of Shchastya in the LPR «On the eve of Victory Day, we want to transfer a particle of fire to veterans in memory of our great Victory, as a tribute to all those to whom we can thank for our life today. Today, our action is taking participation of organizations from different cities of Israel, including from Ashdod and Haifa,» Elena Grin, a member of the central headquarters of the United People's Front, told Russian journalists. In the presence of representatives of the press and public organizations, 12 particles of fire from the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Moscow were transferred to organizations of compatriots and veteran associations of Israel. Russian Ambassador to Israel Anatoly Viktorov told RIA Novosti that the Jewish state immediately showed keen interest in this action. Assistance in the fire transfer ceremony was provided by representatives of the Russian diplomatic mission, the Russian House, representatives of Rossotrudnichestvo. «Wings» in Netanya and «Candle of Memory» in Jerusalem. The fire will also be delivered to veterans who have shown interest, who want to remember their veteran combat years and fallen comrades,» Viktorov told Russian journalists.
