Journalist Michael Naki is involved in a case of creating «fakes» about the military, which was brought against the founder of the Conflict Intelligence Team, Ruslan Leviev. According to a Mediazona correspondent, the investigator said this during a meeting on Leviev's arrest in absentia.
According to the investigator, the case of spreading «fake news» about the Russian army «with the artificial creation of prosecution evidence» against Leviev and Naki was initiated on March 16 (point «c» of part 2 of article 207.3 of the Criminal Code). Leviev was brought in as a defendant on May 4.
The investigator did not specify Naka's status in the case. At the same time, both journalists who had previously left Russia were added to the search database by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The case became known today, after the Investigative Committee asked the Basmanny District Court of Moscow to arrest Leviev in absentia.
The judge and the investigator did not announce at the meeting why the case was opened. After the start of the war in Ukraine, Leviev daily released reports on military operations on Naki's YouTube channel. -cite__image» alt=»1″ />Arrest in absentia of CIT founder Ruslan Leviev. Online
