MOSCOW, June 2 home match of the first round of the League of Nations. The meeting of Group 2 of League A, which took place in Seville, ended with a score of 1:1. Alvaro Morata scored a goal for the hosts in the 25th minute. The return goal was scored by Ricardo Horta (82nd minute). Portuguese leader Cristiano Ronaldo started the match on the bench and appeared on the field in the second half. In another match of the quartet, the Czechs beat the Swiss 2-1 in Prague. As part of the winners, Lokomotiv Moscow striker Jan Kukhta scored his first goal for the national team, scoring for the first time in the seventh match for the Czech national team. The Russian team was excluded from the League of Nations after the decision of the UEFA Executive Committee, which suspended all Russian national and club teams in May from competitions under its own auspices until the end of the 2022/23 season.
