MOSCOW, June 12 Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev lost in the final of the grass tournament in 's-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands, the prize fund of which is about 650 thousand euros.
In the final meeting, the 26-year-old Russian, who received the first seed, lost to the Dutchman Tim van Reithoven with a score of 4:6, 1:6. The duration of the match was 1 hour 5 minutes.
Van Reithoven won his first title in tournaments under the auspices of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). He occupies the 205th place in the ATP rankings, after winning the tournament, the 25-year-old Dutchman will rise 99 lines. Medvedev is second, on Monday he will overtake Serbian Novak Djokovic and become the world leader for the second time in his career.
