He also noted that the acquisition of Ukrainian citizenship by Russian businessmen will not save them from confiscation of assets in Ukraine. As an example, Venislavsky cited the situation with the Russian businessman Mikhail Fridman, who, according to the Ukrainian National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC), expressed a desire to obtain Ukrainian citizenship. Later, a representative of the Alfa Group company, co-founded by Fridman, told RIA Novosti that this information was fake.
