
MOSCOW, June 16 Colorado Avalanche players beat Tampa Bay Lightning in the first match of the Stanley Cup Final series. As part of the “Colorado” goals in regular time were marked by Gabriel Landeskog (8th minute), Russian forward Valery Nichushkin (10) and Artturi Lehkonen (18). At Tampa, goals were scored by Nick Paul (13), Ondrej Palat (33) and Russian defender Mikhail Sergachev (34). Tampa goalkeeper Andrey Vasilevsky saved 34 shots out of 38. The score in the series to four wins was 1-0 in favor of Colorado. The second match will take place in Denver on the night of June 19 Moscow time.
