MOSCOW, Jun 26 winner of the Calder Cup, beating the Springfield Thunderbirds in the final series of the playoffs of the American Hockey League (AHL). The meeting in Springfield ended with a score of 4:0 (1:0,1:0, 2:0) in favor of the guests. Max Lajoie (19th minute), Andrew Poturalski (37), David Gast (58) and Josh Leivo (60) scored among the winners. Russian Chicago Wolves goalkeeper Pyotr Kochetkov played in the reserve, forward Vasily Ponomarev scored one throw at the gate. Russian Thunderbirds players Klim Kostin and Nikita Alexandrov did not score points. The score in the series to four wins was 4-1 in favor of Chicago. The Wolves have won their first Calder Cup since 2008.
