MOSCOW, June 30 Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin called on ministers to work more actively with the regions and specifically respond to their appeals, a source in the government told RIA Novosti. Earlier, a source in the Federation Council said that the speaker of the upper house of parliament, Valentina Matvienko, turned to Mishustin with a request to influence ministers who do not answer calls from governors. Matviyenko did not name these ministers. «The Prime Minister strongly recommended that the ministers work more actively with the regions and respond to their appeals,» the agency's interlocutor said. According to him, the issue of ministers' work with the regions will be taken under control.
