The authorities of the Khabarovsk Territory have declared a state of emergency due to forest fires. The head of the region, Mikhail Degtyarev, announced this on his Telegram channel.
“A state of emergency has been introduced in the region. Difficult situation with forest fires in six municipal districts. According to the long-term weather forecast, precipitation is not expected in the coming days,” Degtyarev said.

The Ministry of Forestry and Timber Processing of the region clarified TASS that during the emergency regime a ban on visiting forests, including cars, is introduced. Such a measure will not affect only those involved in the protection of forests from fires, as well as people renting forest plots.
According to the report of the Federal Forestry Agency FBU «Avialesookhrana», from the beginning of the year until June 23, 225 forest fires that covered an area of 46.4 thousand hectares.
Earlier, it became known about the decision to suspend or stop extinguishing part of the flattering fires in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Magadan Region and the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug.
