In Ukraine, women with certain professions will be registered in the military

Archival photoMOSCOW, July 13Ukrainian women who own some professions, including those related to chemistry, radio engineering, IT and medicine, will have to register with the military from October 1, the Ukrainian publication Zerkalo Nedelya reported. “In Ukraine, from October 1, women of certain professions must register with the military,” says an article on the Zerkala Nedeli website. The publication, citing a decree from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, publishes a list of professions whose owners will have to register with the military registration and enlistment office. Among the sectors in demand are chemistry, biology, telecommunications and radio engineering, several specialties from the IT field, and a number of medical specialties. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is also interested in specialists in the provision of troops, tax affairs, marketing, and specialists in the field of printing and publishing.
