Yartsev will be buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery

MOSCOW, Jul 18 Former head coach of Spartak Moscow and the Russian national team Georgy Yartsev will be buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery on July 19, according to the website of the Russian Football Union (RFU). Farewell to ex-coach Yartsev will take place on July 19 and will begin at 10:00 Moscow time at the Spartak Academy. Then, at 12:00 Moscow time, a funeral service will take place in the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Sokolniki. Georgy Yartsev died on July 15, 2022 at the age of 75. He was the head coach of the Russian national team from 2003 to 2005, under his leadership the national team played in the final part of the European Championship — 2004. Yartsev led Spartak, with whom he became the champion of Russia in 1996.
