Midfielder Mantuan moved to Zenit on loan

MOSCOW, July 19 Brazilian Corinthians midfielder Gustavo Mantuan moved to St. Petersburg Zenit on loan, according to the official Telegram channel of the football club. The agreement with the 21-year-old Brazilian is for one year with the right to buy the player. Earlier, Zenit announced the loan of Brazilian goalkeeper Corinthians Ivan Quarezma. On July 6, Mantouan was injured in the 1/8 finals match of the Libertadores Cup against the Argentine team Boca Juniors. Zenit coach Sergei Semak stated that the damage to the midfielder «is not catastrophic».
