MOSCOW, Aug 2 The English Premier League plans to publish audio recordings of conversations between referees and the referees responsible for the video assistant referee (VAR) system after football matches, according to The Times, citing the league's chief executive Richard Masters. Masters stated that there was broad support for the idea. Audio will be published only after the matches have been completed. This practice is already used in the North American MLS league, where the head of the refereeing organization is Briton Howard Webb, who, according to media reports, will head the Council of Professional Referees of England. The new season of the English Premier League starts on August 5 with the Crystal Palace — Arsenal.
