
MOSCOW, Aug 13 San Jose Sharks Russian defender Nikolai Knyzhov due to an injury, he was out for six months, according to the official website of the National Hockey League (NHL) club. During one of the training sessions, the 24-year-old hockey player received a rupture of the Achilles tendon of his right leg. On Wednesday, Knyzhov successfully underwent surgery, after which he will have about six months of rehabilitation.
