It is noted that at least 59 more cases should be added to them: 23 of them were registered in Catalonia, another 20 in Navarre and 16 in the Basque Country. According to Cadena SER, Spanish law enforcement agencies have not yet compiled a typology of this phenomenon, since none of the alleged perpetrators has not yet been detained. It is also reported that in recent years, complaints about syringe injections have become more frequent. Injections with syringes in crowded places are becoming a serious problem in Spain. The victims of the attackers were, in particular, several girls during the San Fermin festival in Pamplona. The Catalan police are investigating a string of allegations of injections at nightclubs in the region. In addition, visitors to the music festival in the city of Santander and discos in the Balearic Islands were injected with syringes. Three girls were hospitalized in Valencia.
