MOSCOW, Aug 25 Spartak Moscow hockey players beat Vityaz near Moscow in the first match of the Moscow Mayor's Cup. The meeting, held in Moscow, ended in overtime with a score of 5:4 (2:2, 1:1, 1:1, 1:0) in favor of the «red-whites». As part of the winners, Maxim Tsyplakov scored a double (11th and 43rd minutes), Alexander Khokhlachev (4), Yegor Savikov (35) and Dmitry Kugryshev (63) also scored goals. Tyler Graovac (13), Jeremy Roy (16), Vitaly Popov (29) and Vladislav Kara (60) scored against Vityaz. The Moscow Mayor's Cup will end on 28 August. Also playing at the tournament are Dynamo Moscow and CSKA, Beijing's Kunlun Red Star and Amur Khabarovsk. The new KHL season starts on September 1. In the next match, Spartak will play against Kunlun Red Star on August 26, Vityaz will meet the Dragons a day later.
