The Ministry of Internal Affairs put Alexander Zykov, the former coordinator of the headquarters of the politician Alexei Navalny in Kostroma and Saratov, on the federal wanted list. This follows from the department's search base.
Under what article a criminal case was opened against the activist is unknown.

Zykov actively opposed corruption and participated in protests. In 2020, the mayor of the Kostroma city of Manturovo demanded that a sabotage case be brought against the coordinator of Navalny's headquarters for a post about the salary of an official in the Overheard group. In addition, the activist said that in 2021 he was detained at the exit from the house and taken to the forest, putting a bag over his head. After that, Zykov was arrested for 10 days.
At the same time, in 2018, a court in Kostroma sentenced former police major Eduard Volkov to three years probation, who broke Zykov’s eyebrow during the activist’s participation in a picket on one of the city’s squares outside a year before. For this incident, the head of Navalny’s headquarters was apologized by the Kostroma Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In January 2022, it became known that Zykov had left Russia. “My beloved administration of the region, you rejoice early. You sons of bitches, I will now get on a regular basis and you will not do anything to me. Just wait,” the activist wrote in a post about his departure.
