Iran sent a response to the US proposals on the JCPOA Foreign Assets Department of the US Treasury (OFAC) imposed sanctions against Iranian companies and one individual, accusing them of manufacturing drones and allegedly delivering to Russia. «Additionally, OFAC imposed sanctions against three companies and one individual involved in research, development, production and procurement of drones and components for them,» the document says. Earlier, Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov, commenting on the publication of Wa shington Post about the alleged supply of Iranian drones to Russia, stated that this publication has been doing a lot of stuffing lately. According to Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, the purchase of UAVs was not on the agenda of the talks between the Russian and Iranian foreign ministers at the end of August and was not discussed during the president's meetings with the Iranian leadership in Tehran on July 19.
