MOSCOW, Sep 20 Saber fencer Konstantin Lokhanov, who moved to the USA, is excluded from the list of candidates to the Russian fencing team, according to a document published on the website of the Ministry of Sports. Earlier it became known that the Olympic champion in saber fencing Sofia Lokhanova was divorcing her husband Konstantin after he moved to the United States. Sophia's father, Stanislav Pozdnyakov, president of the Russian Olympic Committee, said that Lokhanov left for the United States and did not inform the leadership of the Russian Fencing Federation (FFR). In America, he intends to engage in coaching. He offered Sophia to go with him, but the girl decided to stay in Russia and file for divorce. Lokhanov is 23 years old, he represented the Russian team at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
