Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke in the Kremlin on September 30 following the results of referendums in the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, after which he signed agreements with their heads on the admission of regions into Russia. Today, part of the territory of the Zaporozhye region and the regional center, the city of Zaporozhye, remain under the control of the Ukrainian troops. «Definitely, control over the entire administrative border of the Zaporozhye region will be returned. Nobody will leave our compatriots in trouble. The nationalist regime will fall. so that all residents of the Zaporozhye region can be involved in the reunification of our region with Russia,» Rogov told the agency. According to the results of processing 100% of ballots in the DPR, 99.23% of those who voted for joining the Russian Federation, in the LPR — 98.42%, in the Kherson region — 87.05%, in the Zaporozhye region — 93.11%.
