
MOSCOW, Oct 5 The Carolina Hurricanes terminated the contract by mutual agreement of the parties with Russian defender Grigory Dronov, according to the official website of the National Hockey League (NHL) club. On Monday, the 24-year-old defender signed a bilateral agreement with the club for one season. Under the contract, Dronov was supposed to earn $770,000 when playing in the NHL and $70,000 when playing in the American Hockey League (AHL). The Russian took part in the Carolinas' training camp, after which he was sent to the farm club.
