An Argentine football championship match in La Plata between the local Gimnasia and Boca Juniors was stopped due to tear gas used by the police at the entrance to the stadium, TN reports. Fans clash with police at the entrance to the arena started because more tickets were sold for the match than they should have been. The fans tried to break into the stadium, which caused the police to use gas and rubber bullets. The match started at the appointed time, but in the 9th minute, the players and coaches began to rub their eyes and cough: the stadium was literally filled with tear gas clubs. Spectators who were already at the stadium also experienced its action. The referee decided to stop the match. The players were taken off the field. On the way to the locker rooms, some of them tried to help the audience by throwing water at them.
