МОСКВА, 8 окт. German Josef Zinnbauer resigned as head coach of the Moscow Lokomotiv, according to the website of the football club. Thomas Zorn left the post of sports director. On Saturday, Lokomotiv lost to Sochi in the 12th round of the Russian Premier League with a score of 0:4 and suffered fifth defeat in a row in the national championship with a goal difference of 3-13. The team dropped to 14th place in the standings. Zinnbauer was appointed head coach of Lokomotiv in June 2022. Zinnbauer played in the Bundesliga as a midfielder for Karlsruhe and Mainz. As a head coach, he headed Hamburg (Germany), St. Gallen (Switzerland) and Orlando Pirates (South Africa).
