MOSCOW, Oct 11 Russian coach Dmitry Tursunov decided not to continue cooperation with the British tennis player Emma Radukanu, according to The Times. Tursunov told Radukan that next week he wants to start working with another tennis player, whose name is not called. The former US Open champion, who is currently recovering from a wrist injury, will have to look for her fifth coach in the last 16 months. Cooperation between 19-year-old Radukan and Tursunov began in late July. In August, Radukanu failed to defend her US Open title, losing in the first round to Frenchwoman Alize Cornet. After the defeat, Radukanu said that she did not know if she would continue to cooperate with the Russian coach. The Briton currently ranks 68th in the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) ranking. Tursunov worked with Anette Kontaveit until June, under the leadership of the Russian, she reached the final of the final WTA tournament at the end of last season and made her debut in the top ten world rankings. In total, Tursunov helped the Estonian win five tournaments and reach the final in two more. Kontaveit and Tursunov ended their cooperation, since the specialist had problems obtaining visas after the start of the conflict in Ukraine.
