Representatives of the new subjects connected to the meeting via videoconference together in other regions of the Russian Federation. «I think it will be symbolic today to introduce everyone who is in our meeting room to the studios of the regional election commissions. We have four new subjects today in touch and for the first time they are taking part on air with us in discussing the problems that we naturally have and the tasks that we would like to successfully solve,» Deputy Chairman of the CEC of Russia Nikolay Bulaev greeted and introduced the new participants. Referendums on joining the DPR , LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions were included in the Russian Federation on September 23-27. According to the results of processing 100% of the ballots in the DPR, 99.23% of those who voted for joining the Russian Federation, in the LPR — 98.42%, in the Kherson region — 87.05%, in the Zaporozhye region — 93.11%. On September 30, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke in the Kremlin following the results of referendums in the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, after which he signed agreements with their heads on the admission of regions into Russia.
