MOSCOW, Oct 12 The Serbian women's volleyball team beat the US team in the semifinals World Cup match. The meeting in Polish Gliwice ended with a score of 3-1 (25:21, 25:20, 17:25, 25:23) in favor of the current world champions. In the final of the tournament, the Serbian team will meet with the winner of the match between the teams of Italy and Brazil. The Americans will play in the match for third place with the team that will lose in the semi-finals. The World Championship, which takes place in Poland and the Netherlands, will end on October 15th. Earlier, the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) suspended the national teams of Russia and Belarus from participating in international competitions and deprived the Russian Federation of the right to host the 2022 men's world championship.
