MOSCOW, Oct 17. Athletic fans from Bilbao carried the flags of the DPR and the USSR to the podium during a home match against Atlético Madrid. The meeting took place at the San Mames stadium on October 15 and ended with a 1-0 victory for the Madrid team. The only goal was scored by Antoine Griezmann. The flags of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), the Soviet Union and the Banner of Victory were on the fan stand of the team from Bilbao. Basque fans had previously used these canvases. It happened in September 2014 at the Champions League match between Athletic and Ukrainian Shakhtar. At the same time, a banner «Get up, Donbass!» hung on the podium.
