WASHINGTON, Dec 9 U.S. has nothing to say about possible plans yet on the resumption of visa issuance in Russia, said Deputy State Department spokesman Vedant Patel.
On Friday, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that the United States has begun filling vacancies at the embassy responsible for issuing visas.
«I am not yet ready to announce any new steps regarding the issuance of visas,» Patel said during a briefing, answering the question whether it is possible to expect the resumption of the issuance of US visas in Russia in the near future.
