MINSK, Dec 19 Presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov advised Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny to rest after his statements about the preparation of a «joint operation» between Russia and Belarus.
«What is the general's name? He needs to rest. Reworked,» the Kremlin spokesman said.
Peskov denied the reports earlier on Monday that Vladimir Putin is going to Minsk to «coerce» Belarus into participating in a special operation in Ukraine.
According to him, such publications should be treated «as absolutely stupid and baseless fabrications.»
br>Vladimir Putin arrived today in the capital of Belarus, where he held talks with Alexander Lukashenko. In addition to the Russian leader, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov arrived in Minsk.
