MOSCOW, Dec 31 Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced that due to emergency shutdowns, about 30% of consumers remain without electricity in the capital, water supply and heat supply are operating normally.
Earlier on Saturday, an air raid alert was announced throughout Ukraine. Later, Klitschko reported on explosions in the city.
«The life support system of the capital is operating normally. Kiev residents have water and heat. Now 30% of consumers are without electricity. Due to emergency shutdowns,» Klitschko wrote in his Telegram channel.
He also said that the movement of trains on the red line of the Kyiv metro is not carried out along the entire branch, from the Akademgorodok station to the Arsenalnaya station, since restrictions have been introduced to check the open section of the line for the presence of debris residues missiles. He noted that the resumption of traffic by the red line of the service will be reported additionally.
