In New Moscow, the lawyer of the defenders of the Trinity Forest was fined; after her arrest, she spent the night in a cell without heating

The Trinity District Court of Moscow fined Olga Slastunina, a lawyer of the initiative group of defenders of the Trinity Forest, a thousand rubles. The activists reported this on their Telegram channel.

Slastunina was detained yesterday afternoon along with two other local residents after a scuffle with workers who were installing a fence in the Trinity Forest. One of the activists, Roman Zhokhov, was thrown into the snow by the builders.

Zhokhov was sentenced to four days of arrest on the same day. Slastunina was left at the Troitskoye police station for the night. In court today, a lawyer told SotaVision that she was “held in a completely unheated concrete cell <…> without access to hot water.

“My blood pressure is at zero, I guess. To be honest, I feel really bad. I don’t even know how to keep warm yet, ”added Slastunina. Like Zhokhov, she was charged with petty hooliganism (Part 1 of Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

The third detainee on January 17 in Troitskoye Forest was a 14-year-old teenager named Egor. After his release, he said that in the police department the police took away his phone, beat him with a book so that he would unlock the device, and “forced him to write false testimonies about the struggle of the Trinity Forest activists.”
