BERLIN, Jan 28 German Chancellor Olaf Scholz advocates multipolarity a world in which as many states as possible cooperate with each other.
«The world will be multipolar, I am firmly convinced of this. In the future there will be not two blocs, but a number of influential states — in Asia, Africa, and also in Latin America. And this world should be multilateral, so that as many States could cooperate with each other,» Scholz told Argentina's La Nación, Chile's El Mercurio and Brazil's O Globo ahead of his visits to the three South American countries.
«I stand for a rule-based order based on the UN charter, human rights and the rule of law, so that together we can meet the challenges we face, such as combating climate change, social and environmental transformation and global health policy,» the chancellor added.
On Saturday, January 28, accompanied by a business delegation, Scholz went on a three-day visit to three South American countries: Argentina, Chile and Brazil. During his visits, he is scheduled to hold talks with the head of each of the states.
