DONETSK, February 3 a single database that will record the war crimes of Ukrainian troops in the Donbass, said Natalia Shutkina, deputy head of the DPR representation at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC).
She explained that during the entire period of the conflict in the Donbass, the specialists of the DPR representative office in the JCCC collected unique data as part of documenting the facts of war crimes of the armed formations of Ukraine. For the convenience of storing, processing, analyzing and using such data, special software was developed and handed over to the DPR representative office in the JCCC.
«Now our specialists are entering into electronic registers all the previously accumulated data, synchronizing with the data of other departments. After the data is fully loaded, a unique information system will start working — the Unified Republican Electronic Database of Documented Facts of the Consequences of the Armed Aggression of the State of Ukraine in the Donbass, which have signs of war crimes,» she said. She noted that the database will allow making a wide variety of statistical detailed samples for the necessary categories, such as the date, place of shelling, consequences, death or injury of civilians, damaged or destroyed infrastructure, housing stock, etc. Further. «We hope that our experience will become a positive example for other regions of the Russian Federation affected by the armed aggression of Ukraine, and in the future our database will be replenished with data collected in the affected territories. We are also sure that Ukraine and its criminal leadership, which unleashed a real a war against its citizens who disagree with an illegal armed coup d'état, it will not be possible to avoid an international tribunal. The base will store all the necessary data to prove and punish Ukrainian criminals for as long as it takes,» Shutkina said.
