NEW DELHI Feb 6 India and Russia are committed to full fulfillment of the contract for the supply of S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems, India will soon receive a third of the deliveries under this contract, Russian Ambassador Denis Alipov said.
«Both sides are committed to the completion of the entire contract. We will certainly do it. Nothing stands in the way of this,» the ambassador said at the conference «Next Steps in the Indo-Russian Strategic Partnership: Old Friends, New Horizons.»
Alipov noted that India will soon receive a third of the supplies under this contract.
«As for the S-400, I can say that the third part of the deliveries will be completed in the near future,» the Russian ambassador said.
Russia and India signed a contract for the supply of S-400 in October 2018. As it became known earlier, five regimental kits will cost Delhi 5.43 billion dollars. India has become the third foreign buyer of these complexes after China and Turkey.
