MOSCOW, Feb 13 NATO websites hit by hacker on Sunday , the German agency dpa reported, citing a spokesman for the alliance.
«NATO on Sunday became the target of a hacker attack,» the report says.
According to the agency, the alliance said that the attack affected several sites at once. The NATO representative noted that the alliance's cyber experts are actively involved in what happened.
It is noted that information appeared in social networks that «pro-Russian activists» allegedly attacked the website of the NATO Special Operations Forces Headquarters (NSHQ), which was unavailable for some time. The attack was blamed, in particular, on «the Russian hacker group Killnet,» the publication says. Evidence was not provided.
