«Ground electric transport does not work in Kharkiv. Instead, buses have been put on routes according to the blackout scheme. The subway also does not transport passengers — the subway operates in shelter mode,» the mayor's office said in a telegram channel.
Earlier on Thursday, an air raid alert was announced throughout Ukraine, it lasted about five hours. The authorities reported that energy facilities came under fire in the region, in this regard, emergency blackouts were introduced.
