The Goodwood Festival of Speed is only a few weeks away, and it looks like Ford Europe will bring to the event something special. The company announced the mystery vehicle in a teaser video, and it's possible that it will be a crazy electric van. For example, the successor to the Ford Supervans.
It is already clear that the car will be electric. And, obviously, it will debut on June 23 at the Festival of Speed. It can be assumed that the model will conquer the mountain. But the video itself shows only the most vague features of the car.
But in this video lies the clues. The video is produced by Ford Europe and features Ford Pro branding prominently. Ford Pro — it is the new name for Ford's commercial divisions, and vans form the backbone of Ford's commercial vehicles in Europe. If you look closely at the blurred background, you can see that the car is quite tall, with a straight back and a blunt front.

For that matter, the silhouette also looks quite wide. And Ford, with its wild Mustang Mach-E 1400, has proven it can create insanely unique electric vehicles. So we think it will be the electric successor to the Supervans series. The last one, the Supervan 3, was built in the 1990s and is powered by a Ford-Cosworth V8 engine built for Formula One.
We'll be curious what this Transit van looks like. Ford has already introduced the full-size electric Transit around the world, but the most recent electric Transit for Europe is the slightly smaller E-Transit Custom. We look forward to finding out in just a few weeks.
