The head of Crimea added that there are a lot of issues that cannot be resolved through the direct application of federal legislation, so the maximum number of powers should be given to the heads of the regions.
«Decisions must be made very quickly, the speed of decision-making is very important — today this is the main thing. Why did Crimea pass quickly (the process of integration — ed.)? Because we made (decisions) here without hesitation,» he explained.
br>Aksenov added that the federal government actively helps new regions, the Crimean experience is also taken into account, the Crimean authorities provide methodological assistance to colleagues. “Now the main question is that most issues should be resolved manually. I tell my colleagues: if you see that it is impossible to apply federal law directly, but some decision needs to be made in the interests of a citizen, take it on a commission basis, act in the interests of a citizen, even if you have any differences,» he said.
«So, I think we should set a five-year period for today — at least we should set a boundary for ourselves that in five years we must fully adapt to federal legislation, taking into account the Crimean experience,» Aksyonov concluded.
