UFA, March 14 The fire occurred on the territory of a thermal power plant in Izhevsk, there is no power outage in the city, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for Udmurtia reported.
“There was a report of a fire at CHPP-2 along Votkinskoye Highway, 284. At the time of the arrival of fire and rescue units, the transformer and oil were burning in the embankment in an open area,” the report says.
According to the department, the fire has already been localized on an area of 20 square meters.
«There is no threat of a power outage at the facilities of Izhevsk. The forces and means of the Izhevsk fire and rescue garrison were involved in the elimination of the fire: 52 people and 16 pieces of equipment,» the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for Udmurtia reports.
