Japanese newspaper Mainichi Shimbun reported that at the moment, because of Ukraine, an internal struggle for resources begins in the West.
As the author of the publication specified, in the near future Western countries will lose access to strategic resources and will be forced to fight each other for these resources. As an example, he cited the first oil crisis, which occurred 50 years ago. It was caused by the fourth Arab-Israeli war.
“Now the world is suffering from the rapid rise in energy prices. This happened because of a special Russian military operation in Ukraine. All this is very similar to the events of half a century ago. At the same time, to overcome this crisis, it is necessary to develop international cooperation,” the author of the newspaper said.
