According to the publication, policemen were on duty at the place of the gathering, where about 500 people came, who detained a man with a quadrocopter, as well as a young man who turned into a Georgian flag. The police officers checked the documents of several more protesters and then released them. At the same time, local residents learned about plans to build a mosque in their microdistrict «in an Orthodox church» and «from acquaintances», MSK1.RU writes.

The first gathering of opponents of the «Muslim center» was held in early March — it was attended by about 200 people who defended the «traditional place of pilgrimage for Orthodox Christians.»
On March 15, the authorities of the eastern administrative district of Moscow banned the second religious procession. TV presenter Boris Korchevnikov then spoke in support of the residents.
