WASHINGTON, Mar 20 — RIA Novosti. US President Joe speaks Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping will take place at the appropriate time, but for now, the Chinese leader remains busy, said John Kirby, White House strategic communications coordinator.
«We want to make sure that this conversation takes place at the right time and in the right context. President Xi remains quite busy: he just finished the people's congress, and now he is in Moscow,» he told reporters.
Earlier Monday, Kirby said in an interview with CNN that Biden is keen to speak to the Chinese leader, but their call is not yet scheduled.
