Segal also said that he can start work on new projects after the completion of the special operation in Ukraine.

In 2016, the head of state signed a decree on the admission of Seagal to the Russian e citizenship. In August 2018, he became the special representative of the Foreign Ministry for humanitarian relations between Russia and the United States.
