Former special forces officer, colonel in Retired Anatoly Matviychuk, in an interview with URA.RU, said that at the moment the North Atlantic Alliance is increasing its grouping on the borders with Russia and is considering the option of an invasion.
According to him, one of the main directions for the invasion is the western direction. These are Belarus, Moscow, Smolensk.
“At the same time, directions from the Baltic are considered hard to reach. We are currently considering all of these options. But the most dangerous direction — this is what I talked about,” Matviychuk said.
He clarified that NATO is hypothetically preparing for a possible invasion, but Russia is ready to repel it. Among other things, the North Atlantic Alliance is expanding its grouping in the regions that border Russia.
