In the suburbs, a private ambulance paramedic help drove the mother and choking child out of the car. The employee demanded that he be paid 100 thousand rubles, the Shot telegram channel reports.
According to the channel, a 13-year-old boy was treated in a hospital in the city of Vidnoe. He was diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia, the child was getting worse. He could only breathe while wearing an oxygen mask. His parents decided to take him to Moscow and called a private ambulance for this.
The dispatcher announced the price to his father over the phone — 15 thousand rubles for a call, 200 rubles for a kilometer and 4 thousand for oxygen. However, when the ambulance arrived, the paramedic began to demand 100 thousand. The father called the dispatcher again, they agreed on a price of 30 thousand.
When the mother and son got into the car and drove to Moscow, the father transferred 30 thousand. Seeing the amount, the paramedic reportedly threw a tantrum — apparently he was not warned about the discount. He forced the woman and the choking child out of the car into the street and drove away. The father had to urgently call another ambulance.
Fortunately, the child was safely delivered to the capital's hospital, and now he is undergoing treatment and is recovering. The father also said that a couple of days later he received a call from a private ambulance company that the paramedic had been fired. However, the man still intends to apply to the investigative committee, the prosecutor's office and the court.
