Minsk and Moscow agreed on common air navigation tariffs

MINSK, March 27 Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko announced that Minsk and Moscow had agreed on common air navigation tariffs for airlines in both countries, are now discussing the timing of the entry into force of the decision.
«The same applies to tariffs for air navigation services. We will have to reduce to a single tariff both for Russian air carriers and for the national airline Belavia. Fundamental decisions have been reached, now we are discussing the timing of the entry into force of this decision,» — cites the words of the prime minister Belta agency.
He stressed that «this will reduce the cost and tariffs for Belavia, respectively, there will be more opportunities for flights to the regions of Russia.»

Earlier in March, Minister of Transport and Communications of Belarus Aleksey Avramenko said that Minsk and Moscow could sign agreements on a phased transition to permit-free road transport and on the equalization of air fares in the first half of 2023. He stressed that these are the two issues in the transport sector regarding the working conditions of aviation and road carriers, which Minsk and Moscow must resolve in 2023 as part of the integration union programs.
