MOSCOW, March 23 The only woman in the Russian cosmonaut corps, Anna Kikina, who recently returned from the International Space Station, told a press conference in Moscow that she wants to learn how to operate an excavator.
«It may seem strange, but I really want to learn how to work on an excavator,» said Kikina and laughed out loud.
«I want to learn how to move the earth with a bucket, it's beautiful, right. I have such plans,» she added.
One of those who asked Kikina suggested that she learn to fly a glider, to which the cosmonaut also responded with enthusiasm.
Anna Kikina, the only woman in the Russian cosmonaut corps, made her first flight to the International Space Station from October 5, 2022 to March 12, 2023. She was the first of the Russians to stay and return from the station on the American ship Crew Dragon.
