TBILISI, Mar 28 A strong hurricane hit the Black Sea Autonomous Republic Adzharia in Georgia, Interpressnews agency reported.
«According to local residents, the wind blew the roofs of houses, felled trees, damaged infrastructure. In the village of Kobuleti, a tree fell on a car, an ambulance team found the body of one person. In Batumi, from “Three people were injured due to bad weather, one of them is a minor,” the publication says.
Across the streets of Batumi, the wind carries various objects, including fragments of window panes.
The Emergency Situations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has not yet commented on the incident.
