MOSCOW, Mar 29 Russia appreciates that The SCO countries stand together for the preservation of historical truth, said Nikolai Patrushev, Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.
“We appreciate that the SCO states stand with a unified position for the preservation of historical truth, the memory of the heroic pages of the past. This is precisely what the resolution of the UN General Assembly “Combating the glorification of Nazism” initiated by the Russian side, which was once again adopted on 15 December 2022 with the support of all the member states of our Organization,» Patrushev said at a meeting of the SCO Security Council Secretaries on Wednesday in New Delhi. His words are quoted by the press service of the apparatus of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.
At the same time, Washington, London and their allies continue to encourage the Nazi-Russophobic sentiments of the Kyiv regime, Patrushev added.
«Westerners acted in a similar way before the outbreak of World War II, preferring to ignore Hitler's aggressive plans and even pander to them in the hope of directing the Nazi regime against Moscow, which ultimately led to the loss of tens of millions of lives,» noted Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.
